This is for folks who are interested in learning the basics of jumping- foot positioning, flight time, flight patterns, landing patterns, etc. There will be some observing as well as jumping. This is not for folks who regularly jump, unless you want a deep review of the basics. We will also talk about how to take care of your back while jumping, and how to know if you are.
Jumpboard is a way to add timing and cardio to your Pilates. It integrates superficial and core muscles and can give a little fine tune to your fast twitch muscles. Please have Pilates experience and the ability to hold a sustained abdominal contraction while breathing.
(Note: If you are injured, please do not sign up for this class; wait until you are healed. Not open to very beginning beginners to Pilates. Must have a strong back and no knee issues.)
