Are you tight? Are you sore? Are you chronically tight or sore? Does it always seem like it’s in the same place(s), or does it seem like it’s gradually getting worse? Are you addicted to tennis/running/biking/boxing/crossfit/marathons/fill-in-the-blank heavy-duty exercise? Do you have a job where you are lifting heavy things (children?) over and over again? Ready to be done with all those wearing, repetitive aches and pains? Me too. I have been using the MELT balls, and a couple of other techniques I learned from Liron, regularly for the chronic pain in my hip from my labral tear. This seems like a thing that couldn’t possibly help. But I see the difference. Today I actually rode my bike fast enough to (trust me I am stunned) pass three other people! This NEVER happens to me. I am the slowest runner/swimmer/bicyclist ever. Always have been. How could there be anybody slower than me? My hip must be feeling, not just better, but stronger. Wow.
I asked our wise MELT teacher, Liron Weiss some questions about her experiences, because I know she was a tennis player. And I know she played VERY seriously, and I also know that pain associated with those motions, brought to her to find MELT with Sue Hitzmann in New York.
Liron is offering three opportunities to MELT at Jules Pilates.
