This a a time to get together and try out the different techniques in Sue Hitzmann's book The MELT Method. We will read through parts and explore the written directions together. You can try out the MELT equipment I have at the studio, and we can see how it feels in our bodies.
The first week, we'll tried out some sequences, and in this second session we'll do more plus talk about our discoveries in the weeks between.
Each class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long. The registration for both classes is only $10, and proceeds go to the Jules Pilates scholarship fund. The class and discussion are interactive and casual as a book group is. It is recommended, but not required, you purchase or borrow a copy of the book from the library.
